Bloomfield was a wide span project considering it ranged from the spaces’s design to the branding. The two-storey building in which it takes place was really charming but needed considerable work inside as well as outside. As for the latter, I restored the classic french facade that was already there and added some new details like a series of vintage television lights.
For the space’s interior, a lot of the design got dictated by materials and furniture the owner already owned. The use of it turned out to be a challenge as well as source of inspiration.
Moreover, since the space totals 660 sq. ft, it was important to use every square feet as to be able to have the most seats as possible. One of the major outcome of this issue was the positioning of benches directly on the window stools.
